Cathedral Architectural Lighting

The Cathedral is a creation of Santa Fe, NM immersive arts juggernauts MeowWolf. This lil’ house of worship is on display in MeowWolf’s soon-to-be world famous Denver exhibition.

I was the Technician who performed the implementation and re-assembly instructions for the architectural lighting on this project. This required extensive communication and planning with the power, fabrication, architectural, tech, safety, and lighting specialists.

In the end we had about a hundred meters of addressable lighting strip and a dozen overhead fixtures placed discretely within the structure, all wired together by seamless power and data cabling which traced back to a single tech closet!

The result is soft, approachable, mesmerizing lighting with no visible cabling. Fully programmable for a magnificent pallet of effects.

The Cathedral lighting animations are nothing shy of phenomenal and invoke the plexiglass motifs to life. See them in Denver, you must!
