Monophonic Record Amplifier

Monophonic is a sub-culture. Packing the album sound into a single speaker gives the band a unified and punchy sound.

Tube amplification continues to captivate a niche audience. The sonic voicing of brass, vocal performance, guitar, bass, keys, and drums is rich, deep, and distinctive.

People who like vinyl records will love the sound of tubes.

My monophonic system was built in 2013 when I was still a student at the University of New Mexico. As a college student I built this with the most affordable components I could get my hands on.

To this day, after many thousands of hours of usage, it is still my living-room soundsytem. I put on a good vinyl record while cooking dinner or picking up around the house and if fills the home with warmth and tone.

The system is also configured with a line-level input which is BlueTooth compatible, allowing anyone to play music from a mobile device and softening the feel of the digital transmission making it easier on the ears.

Still sounds great after all these years.
